We’re excited to announce The 2014 Chanukah Pop Up Shop, in support of The Chabad Preschool at Beekman Place Parent’s Association.
This event will bring together various vendors offering the finest in Judaica, books, jewelry, toys and gifts, with on-site gift wrapping, door prizes, food sales and a fantastic pre-Chanukah children’s program so kids can have fun while Mom shops!
The Chanukah Pop-Up Shop will take place in the heart of Midtown’s shopping district at 509 Fifth Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Street, on Sunday, December 7, 9:30am-5:00pm. The Children’s Program will run from 10:30am-2:00pm and will feature a fabulous puppet show by the Wonderspark Puppets, “The Case of the Missing Latke”, a Chanukah film showing, arts and crafts, face painting, snacks and more.
While other similar venues take a percentage of sales, we have decided to charge a fee for a table, allowing each vendor to make 100% of their sales from the event. Table pricing is as follows: $300 for an 8' and $200 for a 4'. The price of the table includes tablecloths and skirting and lots of advertising to bring in holiday shopping traffic from Fifth Avenue. We will also offer credit card processing (for a small percentage.) With an amazing, tourist filled shopping location and a great children’s program at the same time, we’re anticipating a big crowd and lots of sales. There is no entry fee to shop.
